Klipsch R-51M - BLK/GNM

Description bookshelf acoustics Klipsch R-51M:
The Klipsch R-51M is the largest of the two bookshelf models featured in the updated Reference Base series. Compared to the previous speakers in this series, the greatest improvements here have affected the high-frequency emitter. The tweeter uses a 1" aluminum dome on an
LTS suspension made of Kapton (polyamide film). Thanks to this, it was possible to further increase the transparency of the sound at the top and make it even more detailed and airy. The outer finish of the speakers is made of the black textured film under natural wood.Klipsch R-51M - BLK/GNM

The Tractrix 90 x 90 square horn has also been redesigned for a more even pickup pattern and improved tweeter efficiency. The shape of the horn has become smoother, and the logo is now applied directly to its lower edge.

Another notable element, the copper-plated IMG dome woofer, has remained virtually unchanged in the Klipsch R-51M. However, there are some innovations here too - the fastening elements of the woofer (as well as the Tractrix horn) have become more noticeable in the new speakers. With the help of protective grids with reliable magnetic fixation, the entire front panel of the speaker can be hidden, making it as invisible as possible in the interior.

The woofer in the Klipsch R-51M measures 5.25 inches in diameter and delivers rich, punchy bass that is hard to come by from such a small speaker. The speaker is loaded on a phase inverter, the outlet of which is brought to the rear panel. There is also an input block, represented by a pair of screw terminals.

Klipsch R-51M speakers can be used in stereo systems for sounding medium-sized rooms, as well as in all home theater channels. When placed on high-quality stands, these speakers sound without noticeable coloration even at high volumes, and form an extended and focused soundstage. The high sensitivity, traditionally characteristic of the acoustics of this company, provides the Klipsch R-51M with a wide dynamic range and good compatibility with various amplifiers.
